Species

To highlight the rich grains and characteristics of each species, we use the finest solid wood and wood veneers for the construction of our doors. To enhance and protect the beauty of the wood we use a multi-step finishing process that includes hand sanding, baking ovens and hand applied techniques.

Finishes

Dye Stains

Dye Stains offer a more even coat when selecting two tone woods They are dark and rich in color.

Wiping Stains

Wiping stain is sprayed over the wood surface and then hand wiped off for consistent coverage.

Natural & Unfinished

Most wood species are available in Natural and Unfinished.

Antique Stain

The Antique stain is a paint and stain combination that will give you a weathered, rustic appearance.

Paints

Our tinted conversion varnish paints offer a smooth, durable finish, making them an ideal choice for kitchens or any other space in your home.

Highlights (For Paint Only)

Highlights are achieved by using a flow pen instrument to apply the color to the detail in profiled areas of painted cabinets.

Pencil Glaze

Pencil glazing is hand applied with a flow pen which creates a one-of-a-kind addition to your home. Notably, pencil glazing is performed prior to staining the door, ensuring a seamless and refined finish.

Accent Glaze

Accent Glaze is applied by hand, adding character to each door. Decorative moldings are highlighted with greater definition, enhancing their intricate details.

Techniques

Rub-Through

Rub-through is when color is sanded off, leaving the natural wood exposed.

Distress

Cracks, dents, nicks and worm holes give the appearance of aged wood.

Drawer Fronts

Many of our door styles have more than one drawer front option. One is the standard slab drawer which will have the same outside edge profile as the door you choose. The five piece drawer front is more decorative, and has a stile and rail construction. Five piece drawer fronts can also be ordered in the molded style.

Add a touch of elegance to your cabinetry with glass front doors that will show off your display items. We offer four different styles to cover all of your design needs. Our additional door mods include a molded style, that is for both doors and drawers, and a split door that gives your tall cabinets a personality of their own…
